FAQ - Salon Questions

To help ensure your success at Individual Salons you should be an experienced beauty professional and have an established book of clients. Fun and friendly doesn't hurt either.. :-)

Once you choose your suite, you will need to make a hold deposit between $250-$500 to hold your space, that space can be held for up to 1 week if changes need to be made. After that, your hold deposit becomes your security deposit and is fully refundable if no issues at move out as long as you have been in your suite a minimum of 90 days. Going forward, weekly rent is do every Monday or monthly rent is due the last day of each month for the next month. All utilities, WiFI and rent taxes are included. Some nominal LLC, insurance and business taxes will be your responsibility, but in total they are roughly $25 a month if spread out.

Both options are available and still include customization and all utilities. Mini-suites start at $625 a month when available, then we have traditional single suites and double suites from there.

Our use agreements are month to month and auto-renew until you give a 30 day notice, that notice is all that is required to break your suite use agreement without any penalties, no questions asked. If you break your agreement within 90 days, your security deposit will be forfeited.

No 2 suites are the same, we have single and double options ranging from 100-210 sq. ft. At some locations we have mini suites that are slightly smaller. All suites are on their own electrical circuits reducing the chance of shorts.

You will be able to access your suite 24/7. A/C is always set at 70-72 degrees from 7AM-11PM and the common area lights are automatic or available to be manually turned on and off. Humidity is kept at less than 55%.

The common areas are kept clean and no janitorial responsibilities for those are on you. For your room, you can choose to have it cleaned by a professional or on your own but is expected to be clean.

The kitchen has a large refrigerator/freezer, microwave, sink and cabinetry. The laundry room has  complimentary washer and dryer sets.

Absolutely, even the cabinets and their placement! All suites are a blank 4 walled suites with plumbing. Knowing each beauty professionals needs are different, cabinetry, sinks and chairs are decided upon once you make your deposit and installed promptly within 2-5 days in which it is now ready for your pictures, shelving and other personal touches which Individual Salons will even help you install.

Each suite has 4 walls and a ceiling and a glass locked door that only you will have a key to.

Advertising is important in any business and we are happy to help you with ideas and places to advertise. Also, the salon as a whole will continue to be advertised  to attract business to our site.

We do have a lobby which is a great place for your clients to wait for their appointment once they alert you that they have arrived.
